With the development of the aerospace industry, the high performance, high reliability and low cost of advanced aircraft, carrier rockets and satellites are largely attributed to the wide application of new materials and new processes.
Advanced composite materials are an important component of high-tech aerospace products. Continuous CF/PEEK composite materials have advantages such as extremely high heat resistance (heat distortion temperature up to 340 ° C), corrosion resistance, wear resistance and good biocompatibility. It can effectively reduce the structural weight of aircraft, carrier rockets and satellites, increase payload and range, and lower costs.
The continuous CF/PEEK composite material has extremely high mechanical properties and higher impact resistance than traditional thermosetting composites. It can be used to process aircraft landing gear skin components while reducing the weight of the aircraft.
Applications in the field of civil aircraft
CF/PEEK composite materials are widely used in the leading edges of civil airliner wings, internal components of aircraft, including seat frames, brackets, crossbeam ribs and intake pipes.
Applications in the aviation field
PEEK prepregs have been used in fully automatic tail wings, fuselage belly panels, fuselage skins, nose landing gear doors, main landing gear doors, wing panels, and the front edge of horizontal stabilizer, etc. As wave-transmitting materials, resins such as PEEK, PEKK, and PES have relatively good radar transmission and power-saving projection characteristics. When radar waves are applied to these resin-based composite materials, they are less likely to form creeping electromagnetic waves. Unidirectional reinforced grade of carbon fiber and PEEK multifilament hybrid yarn, suitable for manufacturing helicopter rotors and some important shell components.
